We have developed a full service program from concept to completion that will make the process of building your home, your business or establishing a waste water treatment facility seem less intimidating. Our program management plan includes pre-construction coordination, line item budgeting, value engineering, and efficient project management from Central New Jersey to Philadelphia.
| Before we break ground, we start our construction planning services. This includes orchestrating the project team development. We identify the professional needs that the project approvals would require. For any zoning or planning board applications, MGW will retain and oversee legal counsel to interpret and represent all applicable municipal land use laws and regulations pertinent to the project. If a schematic design has not yet being created, MGW will identify the unique needs of the project and recommend the appropriate architecture and/or engineering professional best suited for the project. | ![]() |
If a design is in place, we will work hand in hand with the professionals already involved. MGW will represent the owner’s best interest to ensure that the design phase and approval process is completed in a timely manner in order to get the program management plan underway.
Our track record and clients’ experiences show a higher level of success the sooner the field presence meshes with the design development. During this process, we build your budget in tandem with the evolution of your design to create the perfect program management plan.
The budget total is a compilation of individual line items that have their own associated values. In each line item, we discuss quantities and descriptions of labor and materials to be provided. We believe this method of budgeting is more effective than lump sum pricing as this allows you to foresee what the effect of the components has on the total.
The most important part of the construction planning phase is to keep the schematic design within budget parameters. Through value engineering we continually monitor aspects of design and evaluate its cost effectiveness. The budget is finalized during the steps described above. With a clear and concise scope of work in hand, we create a project schedule to be executed efficiently. Progress meetings, communications with the field, and identifying long lead items are crucial to a successful program management plan. Our goal is to provide a continuous completion of work for the project to be delivered and approved according to our clients’ satisfaction. This is one way MGW stands apart from the competition from Central New Jersey to Philadelphia.
